Google My Maps can be used to manage multiple locations or service areas within your website. For custom maps that Fasturtle has created and shared, follow these steps to edit and update the map on your website.
- From the Maps view, click the three vertical dots next to the map name.
- Click copy.
- From the copied map, you'll be able to add, edit, and delete the information and layers.
- When you're ready to publish, click the Share option in the Maps view.
- Toggle the "Anyone with this link can view" option to the ON position.
- Copy the generated link from the pop-up panel.
- Navigate to the appropriate code section on your website.
- Edit the corresponding HTML block, and replace the
src
value in the code with the new Google map link. Important: do not edit any of the other code elements within this block, doing so may cause your map to be displayed incorrectly. - Click "Save."
- Click "Publish."
